Hi, thank you for coming by! I started crocheting in 2007 and have loved the process of crocheting to make sculptures and abstract forms for many years. It is now such a pleasure to make works that are made to wear and use in the home, pieces that people can cherish and imbue with their personal energy and loving memories.
I am excited to share my crocheted bucket hats with you! Each hat is made with love and attention to detail, the process of crocheting and hand dyeing each piece takes approximately 10-12 hours per hat and each hat is made with sustainably produced COTTON yarn, made from recycled materials AND processed in Santa Catarina Brazil.
In my creative practice I have a background in working with dyes, drawing and painting and I love working with color. It is a joy to mix color formulas and work with intuition in order to create colors that are vibrant and soothing. After the dyeing process is complete the hats are sun dried.
